Privacy Policy

Your confidentiality is very important to me. I will not identify you as a client or give any details of your treatment to anyone without your explicit permission. I will maintain a record of each visit detailing the issues discussed. This information  is considered to be "protected health information" and, as such, will only be used or disclosed for the purpose of treatment, payment and health care operations. Possible exceptions mandated by law include:

• If you pose a risk to your own safety or the safety of others;
• If there is suspected child or elder abuse;
  
• If the court has a legitimate subpoena to impound your records.

​The relationship between a client and therapist is sacred and protected by law. I want you to have a place where you can feel safe to express your feelings in the privacy of the therapeutic relationship.
